Another view of the Lake Murray and Mission Trails. This is looking northwest, and the trails wrap around the lake here at its most southern point. The tall Eucalyptus trees can be found throughout the park adding not only an aesthetic appeal, but also giving off that faint fragrance that is so unique to the Australian tree.
Nice Flowers and a Starbucks

This is the entry to the Lake Park Condominium complex located off Baltimore Drive. Upon entering, you would have just driven past the guard gate. Now is as good of time as any to mention that between the the complex and Interstate 8 (the main freeway nearest the complex) lies a drive-through Starbucks.
Lake Murary and Mission Trails

Lake Murray and the expansive Mission Trails hiking trails are located just a 1/4 block from 5700 Baltimore Drive. The Lake has 10 barbeques and 64 picnic tables. Lake Murray is open for boating and fishing from early November to Labor Day Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday.
Mission Trail is the largest regional park with over 5800 acres of rugged hill, valleys and open areas. The hiking trails are excellent for walking or jogging amidst a natural setting. One can hike the trails to the highest peak in San Diego- Cowles Mountain, where you can take the trails straight to the top.
Lake Park Amenities

This is one of five pools located throughout the complex.
